There will be a mandatory return to the workplace for Google workers beginning on Monday, April 4, according to CNBC. Employees in the Bay Area, where Google maintains a primary site in Mountain View, as well as those around the country will be affected.

Google, like Apple, aims to use a mixed schedule to help workers transition back to work after maternity leave.
