Premiere Pro gets on Final Cut Pro’s level.
Improved support for Apple’s newest Mac is included in the current version of Premiere Pro
This week, Adobe released Premiere Pro 22.2, which includes support for the notch on the new MacBook Pros. According to the update notes, while running the programme in fullscreen mode with Apple’s new professional laptop, Premiere Pro will now dynamically modify its menu.
To accommodate the notch on 2021 MacBook Pro models, Premiere Pro 22.2 automatically adapts the UI components while it is running in fullscreen.
As well as enhanced Speech to Text and Remix, Premiere Pro version 22.2 now supports the new notch function.
Key editorial workflows have been dramatically accelerated by new features in Premiere Pro 22.2, including Remix, which makes use of Adobe Sensei AI to intelligently shorten the length of songs, and an updated Speech-to-Text feature, which can now be used offline and generate accurate transcriptions up to three times as quickly.
Notches may be a good time for Adobe to offer support on the Mac. Redesign of the MacBook Air, which is believed to have a notch, is scheduled to be unveiled during an Apple event in March, according to reports. Even though it’s more likely to arrive in the fall, it’d be a perfect opportunity for Adobe to show off their latest product.
Apple is expected to announce a new iPad, iPad Air, and iPhone SE at its upcoming event. As of right now, the event is scheduled to begin on March 8.
