Reports from Asia claim that the iPhone 14 Pro will have the largest RAM ever available in an iPhone, with an unconfirmed but reasonable claim.
On the Korean site Naver, an account called “yeux1122” said that the iPhone 14 Pro would have 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 14 Pro’s memory components have been validated by supply chain sources, according to the report, and the mass manufacturing timetable looks to be speeding up.
There had been rumours that Apple was intending to release an 8.7-inch iPad mini model in the second half of 2021 with a chassis that was wider and slimmer than the fifth-generation iPad mini. The display size claim was incorrect, but the chassis rumour and debut date were true.
Apple’s 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max versions, according to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, would both come with 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 12 Pro and 13 Pro’s 6GB of RAM now stands as the highest memory ever available in an iPhone. This would be a considerable boost.
Due to the lower memory found in non-Pro iPhone models, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max are expected to contain less than 8GB of memory. It will still be some time before the iPhone 14 Pro reaches iPad Pro levels of memory, which will bring a 16GB memory option in early 2021 on the basis of storage capacity.
iPhone 13 is substantially speedier than Samsung’s Galaxy S22, but lacks in memory capacity. It has been a year since the S10 launched with 8GB of RAM. Adding 8GB of RAM to the iPhone 14 Pro versions would put them in line with Samsung’s current flagships.
