If recent rumours are accurate, Apple might begin sending out invitations to its highly anticipated spring event as early as tomorrow on Apple spring event
It was first rumoured in early February that Apple was organising a special event for Tuesday, March 8th. When Gurman released his “Power On” newsletter, he repeated the notion that something will be taking place on March 8th. It is typical for Apple to send out invites a week in advance of its events, which take place on Tuesday, March 1.
Apple has always held its spring events in March, with the exception of last year, when it held its event in April. According to the Eurasian Economic Database, three new Mac models, one iPad, and one iPhone were recently submitted by Apple. As Apple has most of its events on Tuesdays, the March 8 rumour seems to be extremely realistic.
When Apple has its March event, which new Mac model will it unveil?
During the very least, the iPhone SE and iPad Air updates, as well as a new Mac powered by Apple hardware, are likely to be announced at the Spring event. This year’s iPhone SE is expected to appear quite similar to last year’s model, but with the A15 Bionic CPU, a better back camera, and 5G connection as standard features.
This year’s version of the iPad Air is likely to include a faster A-series processor and 5G connectivity, but there are no design changes. For those who aren’t familiar with Apple’s custom CPUs, a new Mac mini is expected to make its debut during the presentation, although a revamped MacBook Pro is also a possibility.
So it’s probable that the first part of March will see the release of the iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15 upgrades, as well as the March event and new gadgets.
As with previous Apple events in the last two years, the March event is anticipated to be broadcast only online rather being conducted with an in-person crowd. Apple is expected to follow up with a WWDC event later this year, as well as more keynote events throughout the rest of the year. source
