Seconds after Apple posted the second beta of the tvOS 15.4 upgrade, Apple released the third beta today for developers to try out.
In order to get the latest tvOS 15.4 beta, developers need to obtain a profile for the Apple TV using Xcode.
In order to connect your Apple TV to networks that need extra sign-in procedures, such as those in hotel rooms, tvOS 15.4 introduces support for captive Wi-Fi networks.
As a result of this upgrade, the video player now has a “Up Next” queue, which makes it quicker to switch between shows. You don’t have to go back to the Home Screen to pick your Up Next queue while using this feature.
Additionally, tvOS 15.4 introduces a new volume button that can be used directly from the video player, and “Tap to Navigate” has reappeared as an accessibility option. The controls for spatial audio have been completely reworked as well.
