In an attempt to “obtain an order of protection,” a guy tracked his girlfriend using an Apple Watch.
Apple Watches are now being used to monitor people, not just items, according to a recent storey on an accused abuser who attached an Apple Watch to his girlfriend’s vehicle.
After following his girlfriend to a Family Safety Center, a guy was detained after police discovered the Apple Watch hooked to her wheel, according to local news. Before he came, the lady had gone to “obtain an order of protection.”
Family Safety Center on Murfreesboro Pike was alerted by security that the boyfriend and the victim, who was seeking an order of protection, were there when cops arrived.
Several times, according to the woman, her boyfriend threatened to murder her. She had already visited the Family Safety Center. He had been texting her, wanting to know where she was and urging her to contact him, even though she had disabled the Life360 app before she arrived at Family Safety Centers, she told investigators.
Squatting down next to the woman’s vehicle, he was seen staring at the wheel. The police subsequently discovered an Apple Watch when they searched the vehicle. It was verified by the individual that it belonged to him.
