A London mother purchased a new iPhone 13 Pro Max from her carrier, but when it arrived, she discovered a $1 bottle of hand soap instead of a gleaming new smartphone.
Khaoula Lafhaily, 32, got the iPhone on a 36-month contract from Sky Mobile for £1,500. When she received her box two days later, she was unhappy to see a replacement bottle of blue soap instead, according to Wales Online. Also Google Messages update could bring back a blast from the past
“Can you picture it? I was really taken aback and desperately needed the phone “Lafhaily explained.
On January 24, Lafhaily purchased the phone and paid for next-day delivery. She didn’t even get that half of her order since the driver didn’t show up and texted her stating he was “caught in traffic.”
The driver returned two days after the woman requested the phone but once again failed to deliver the item. The shipment arrived barely three days after she placed the first order – however, of course, it didn’t contain her iPhone.
The woman stated that she phoned Sky Mobile as soon as she received the shipment. The airline claimed it would initiate an inquiry right away, but Lafhaily said he hasn’t heard from them in a week.
It’s not the first time someone has ordered an iPhone only to receive something utterly unrelated. A woman purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max in February 2021 but received an apple-flavored yoghurt drink instead.
