An picture of Samsung’s next clamshell foldable has surfaced online. TechTalkTV, a YouTuber, got his hands on an unannounced Galaxy Z Flip 4 and produced a video displaying the device’s design (which has since been removed). Shown in these photographs, Samsung has made a few minor adjustments to its Z Flip 3 design.
Apparently, the smaller hinge on the Z Flip 4 is part of the device’s reduced overall size, as reported by the source. There is a less obvious display wrinkle on the Z Flip 3’s inner screen, but otherwise it seems the same as on the Z Flip 3. If this is true, we’ll just have to wait till the reviews come in to verify it.
Most notable is the bigger external display, which is expected to be over 2-inches diagonally, as opposed to the Z Flip 3’s external display’s 1.9-inch panel. The smartphone still has a two-tone matte look. Sources say the phone should have a bigger 3,700mAh battery with a 25W charger. On August 10, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU is scheduled to be released in the next foldable.
