One of the Xbox Series X’s best features is getting an upgrade
The Quick Resume option on Xbox Series X is a godsend, allowing you to resume where you left off without having to wait for the game to load. However, it seems that a new version of Quick Resume is in the works, which will make it even better.

Right present, Microsoft is looking at the possibility of permanently saving the Quick Resume states of two different games. There is no need to sacrifice some of your favourite games in order to go through all the loading screens.
Xbox Update Trial for the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring recently included a new feature that was stated in the release notes for the update. But Xbox Insider had to explain that this functionality was not available and that its inclusion in the release notes was a mistake.
As a consequence, all references to the new Quick Resume have been deleted from the notes. However, a preview of what’s to come in the near future was shown to the public (via The Gamer).
“No matter what else is going on in the system, Xbox Series X|S console users may now maintain up to two active gaming sessions in Quick Resume mode. If a game is changed, or if the user actively removes it from Quick Resume, these games will no longer be available “A succinct explanation of the topic.
This new upgrade, despite the fact that the Xbox Series X already enables you to suspend three games, is still a major issue. Because no matter how many other games you play, two of them will remain in Quick Resume mode.
Xbox Series X and Series S include a feature called “Quick Resume” that sets them apart from previous Xbox generations. Loading times are always a problem, even if the internal SSD reduces the time it takes to load games.
Also, Sony has failed to reproduce this function on the PS5 so far, and we’ve already highlighted that Quick Resume is leagues ahead of the “Switcher” feature on the PS5. You don’t have to go through the settings to take use of Quick Resume, which is enabled by default.
Despite how well Quick Resume has worked so far, this is only the latest in a long line of improvements Microsoft has pushed since the Xbox Series X and S consoles were introduced. The fact that there will be more upgrades in the future is a wonderful thing.
