Streaming debut of the Toy Story spinoff

As far as I’m concerned, there’s no limit to how far Disney Plus can go. Lightyear, Pixar’s Toy Story spinoff, is now available to stream online following its release in theaters. Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger rather than a toy, is the focus of the animated film. The small title card that appears at the opening of the film explains the basic premise of Lightyear: “Andy received a toy in 1995. It was based on a toy from a movie. That movie is here.”

First Pixar picture to be released worldwide since the outbreak of the pandemic: Lightyear debuted on June 17. However, despite the fact that it was a box office flop, with only $219M against a $200M production budget, Lightyear scored a 75% Rotten Tomatoes(opens in new tab) rating from critics and an 84% audience score.

An cosmic quest is the focus of Buzz’s (Chris Evans’) narrative. With his commanding officer and best friend Alisha Hawthorne (Uzo Aduba) trapped on a dangerous planet, he must work to find a route home. Each of his attempts, however, loses him valuable time, and in order to finish the task, he must form fresh crews with new members.

For those who want to watch Lightyear on Disney Plus, here’s everything you need. The trailer for the film is here:.
