Some iMessage customers are complaining that inline rich Twitter links are displaying tweets that are missing a few characters.
This morning, some iMessage users were claiming that tweet previews from Twitter links in iMessages didn’t display the whole message. The flaw has already been reported to have occurred on Thursday, according to several users.
An Apple server parses the link and generates an in-message preview of its content. Preliminary text is shown when tweets are linked.
A server-side fault with either Twitter or iMessage’s services is anticipated to be addressed remotely shortly.
Since iOS 10, iMessage has supported rich links.
