Let’s perform an unboxing now that the new Huawei MatePad Pro 11 (2022) has arrived at our home. We were fortunate to receive the more expensive variant with the 5nm Snapdragon 888 processor and the optional SIM-based 4G connection. Additionally, a 7nm Snapdragon 870 variant is available.
Our product comes with Huawei’s 40W Super Charge adaptor and a USB cord. Additionally, the new white M-Pencil and an extra Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard were delivered to us.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro 11 (2022) is a multimedia powerhouse. It all starts with the 11-inch 2560x1600px 10-bit OLED panel. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and refreshes at up to 120Hz. Huawei brags about its perfect color calibration (deltaE < 1) and 1,440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It is the first tablet to get TÜV Rheinland’s new Full Care Display 3.0 certification.
It continues with the audio experience – there are 6 speakers, divided between two tweeters, and four woofers.
The keyboard is great. It has the full 1.5mm key travel you’d find on a full-fledged laptop keyboard. The case itself is made of two pieces – one for the back of the MatePad Pro that houses the kickstand, and the other for the keyboard itself.
The keyboard is Bluetooth, so it stays connected to the tablet even if you detach it. That’s neat as you can use the two-piece case in different ways.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 11 will soon be accessible worldwide. Costing CNY 3,300/€481 is the basic 8/128GB model. For CNY 7,700, Vmall will offer the fully equipped 12/512GB variant with an M-Pencil and keyboard (the 512GB model will not be available globally, however).
