Everything you need to watch the Super Bowl on Roku in 2022.
You may watch the Super Bowl for free if you have a Roku device, and there are other paid options. Because this streaming gadget isn’t bound to a contract, it gives you access to a wide range of possibilities, making it one of the top reasons to ditch the cable in 2022.
Sling TV and Fubo TV are expected to be the most popular choices, given many people currently subscribe to these services. In both cases, the Roku app is excellent, and the users have a positive perception of the products.
Even while Sling and Fubo TV both charge a monthly fee of $35 to $65 for only the big game, some people are simply not willing to pay that much money on a one event. Fortunately, both sites give free trials, so there’s no need to commit up front (provided you can set a reminder to remember to cancel).
In addition, Roku provides a wide range of additional possibilities. Watching the Super Bowl on Peacock or Hulu (both of which cost $69 a month) are other options. The low cost of Peacock seems puzzling. The first problem is that it doesn’t have a rewind button.
The Super Bowl in 2022 will not be available in 4K or genuine 4K on any of these devices. The fact that YouTube TV has NBC and can upscale content from 1080p to 4K and provides 4K for select events may seem like Ultra High-Def, but that isn’t the case.

To watch the Super Bowl on Roku, follow these steps:
Which Roku app should you use to watch the Super Bowl?
Okay, here are all of the links to the most popular Roku applications (aka Roku Channels).
To watch the Super Bowl on Sling TV, please click here. Next, add the Sling TV Roku Channel using the Sling TV app on your mobile device. NBC is available on Sling Blue in a few chosen cities (Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hartford, New Haven, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Washington DC and San Diego).
Sling Blue costs $35 a month, but you don’t have to pay that charge to watch the Super Bowl LVI on Sling since Sling TV offers a three-day free trial for new subscribers.
The fuboTV Roku Channel is now available for remote loading if you want to watch Fubo TV on your Roku. The monthly fee for fubo TV is $65; however, this service offers additional channels and a multi-view option, allowing users to simultaneously watch several stations. There is also a 7-day free trial of fubo TV.
What’s the point of shelling out an additional $5 to watch the Super Bowl on Hulu Live TV? Disney Plus and ESPN Plus are included (where UFC 271 is streaming). However, much like with Sling, you’ll want to see whether Hulu offers NBC programming in your area. Click “VIEW CHANNELS IN YOUR AREA” when you sign up for Hulu. Then enter your zip code and click “Submit” to discover whether NBC is available in your area.
For $69 a month, you should choose Hulu with Live TV when signing up for Hulu. Add Hulu on your Roku here.
Peacock, which does not provide a free trial and does not allow rewinding, will also be airing the Super Bowl, and it costs just $5 a month for Peacock Premium. Selecting the “ad-free” Peacock Premium Plus option does not guarantee that all of the Super Bowl ads will be removed. Movies and TV programmes are the only ones affected by this. Everything you need to know about Peacock is in our in-depth review.
