Better Call Saul fans celebrate Rhea Seehorn’s Emmy nomination

The Better Call Saul episode that aired last night addressed the Emmy voters directly:

We all know what you’re saying, Bob Odenkirk! (and he has). When it comes to television, Kim Wexler is one of the most intriguing characters, yet Rhea Seehorn has never been nominated for an Emmy – until this morning.

Patricia Arquette, Julia Garner, Jung Ho-yeon, Christina Ricci, J. Smith-Cameron & Sarah Snook, Sydney Sweeney, and Rhea Seehorn are the candidates for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 2022 Emmy Awards.

This is the Emmy award category in which the results are the most difficult to predict. It’s odd that Seehorn was nominated as a supporting actor instead of the contender for lead. Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh were also nominated in that category, so she could have a stronger chance there. Even the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences was unimpressed with the ending of Killing Eve, which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Surely, Emmys, you can do better than this. Let Seehorn have it. Fans of Better Call Saul seem to be in agreement, as seen by their tweets:
