Apple currently has more than 1.8 billion active devices worldwide, a new record, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook on today’s earnings call for the first fiscal quarter of 2022.

Apple’s active install base comprises the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch, and it has increased from 1.5 billion active devices in January 2020 to 1.65 billion active devices in January 2021.

Cook did not provide specific numbers for individual devices, but stated last year that Apple had over a billion active iPhones worldwide.
