The Xiaomi 12 Lite is now official, following many significant leaks and a brief teaser campaign. On top of that, the phone has an OLED display that runs at 120Hz and an ultra-high-resolution primary camera with 108MP resolution.
With HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, the 6.55″ AMOLED display of the 11Lite 5G NE has been retained in the 12Lite. The new gadget has the punch hole in the middle, making it easier to tell the two apart. A 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate are now supported by the new panel.
With a 6nm technology and either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, the Snapdragon 778G chipset remains intact.
The 32MP Samsung GD2 sensor and f/2.5 aperture lens on the front-facing camera make it an excellent choice for taking self-portraits. Selfie portrait mode, Xiaomi Selfie Glow, and AF are just a few of the many software options available.
The battery capacity of the Xiaomi 12 Lite is 4,300 mAh, and it supports 67W rapid charging. The adapter is included in the package, as it is with every other Xiaomi 12 smartphone sold globally. Dual 5G standby is supported on the phone’s two SIM cards, however availability varies by region. Using Android v.12 as a foundation, the user interface is called MIUI 13.
It is possible to purchase the Xiaomi 12 Lite in three different colors – black, pink, or green – and with three different memory capacities. The 6/128 GB model costs $400, the 8/128 GB model costs $450, and the most expensive 8/256 GB model costs $500. Starting today, pre-orders may be made through approved Xiaomi online outlets.
