For the Galaxy Watch 4 series, Samsung has been beta testing One UI Watch 4.5 for a few months now. The business has released six beta firmware updates so far, with the most recent builds concentrating mostly on bug fixes. This suggested that the general release was imminent. Samsung has terminated the One UI Watch 4.5 beta programme little over a week after the most recent iteration was released. Users of the Watch 4 using the beta software are now receiving seeds of the stable release.

One UI Watch 4.5, which is based on Wear OS 3.5, adds a number of new watch faces similar to those found on the Galaxy Watch 5 series. You may make duplicates of pre-existing watch faces for simpler modification. Additionally, you may designate your favourite watch faces for quick and simple access. The update adds swipe-to-type and a modified UI to the default Samsung keyboard. Additionally, it will let you effortlessly move between several text-entry techniques.

One UI Watch 4.5 has various accessibility improvements as well. The display’s colour and hue can be changed to improve contrast and readability. Additionally, the transparency and blur effects may be toned down, and system animations can be completely disabled. Samsung has included the ability to adjust the left/right sound balance of Bluetooth earphones directly from the watch for persons who have hearing loss. One UI Watch 4.5 will let you switch between them from the wristwatch if your phone supports two SIMs. Even the SIM card that will be used while making calls from the wearable may be specified.

The Korean firm followed to its release schedule by launching One UI Watch 4.5 as soon as the third quarter of 2022 began for its flagship wearable from the previous year. The stable build of the One UI Watch 4.5 should have been automatically downloaded to your Galaxy Watch 4 if you were using the beta version. A general deployment for non-beta participants will hopefully start shortly.
