Pixel buds pro ANC settings are now in your Pixel’s volume panel

Transparency and ANC modes may be changed without launching the Pixel Buds app.

Some of the best true wireless earbuds available are the Pixel Buds Pro. They are the first Google product featuring ANC, a feature that puts them on level with the competition. It’s a pairing made in heaven if you also have a Pixel phone. Your Pixel Buds Pro’s ANC settings may be adjusted more fast and simply than ever before.

Google Pixel phones running Android 13 are beginning to include ANC controls for the Pixel Buds Pro in their volume settings. The modification was originally noticed last week, but it is now becoming more widely available to users. You should see a strip with three distinct ANC choices when you access the “Sound & vibration” screen if you’re part of the change: one for noise cancellation, one for transparency mode, and one for entirely turning off ANC.

Before, you had to open the Pixel Buds app and go to the “Sound” menu in order to adjust the ANC settings. It’s not like people are unfamiliar with doing this; after all, many ANC earbuds on the market have a dedicated app for adjusting settings. But since the Pixel Buds Pro are designed to work well with the whole Google ecosystem, including the Pixel, having the ANC switches more visible can make it simpler for consumers to turn off/on ANC. Aside from utilising gestures (touch and hold to switch between ANC and transparency), you can also ask the Google Assistant to change the ANC mode for you.

The Pixel phones are now receiving this modification. There won’t be a Pixel Buds app update or any other Google app that will contain it. It can take some time for the update to reach your device as it is a server-side update. You might have to wait a few weeks if you can’t see it straight away. You ought to eventually get it if your Pixel is running Android 13.
