With the introduction of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung introduced One UI 4.1. An upgrade to One UI 4.1 for earlier Galaxy smartphones and tablets was made available by Samsung only a few weeks later. When it was first released, the update was only available for newer smartphones, such as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.
One UI 4.1 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and S10 5G. (based on Android 12). One UI and Android 9 were pre-installed on all three phones when they first launched in early 2019. They aren’t the only ones receiving an upgrade from Samsung this year.
Aside from Android 9 Pie and One UI 1.5, Samsung’s Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ smartphones were released in the second half of 2019. With the release of One UI 4.0, Samsung’s S10 and Note10 series were upgraded to Android 12 in December.
According to Samsung’s announcement, the One UI 4.1 upgrade will include Google Duo Live Sharing, Smart Widgets, an updated Color Palette, better low-light portrait photos, and a Samsung Keyboard that is Grammarly-enabled, among other things. Automatic watch face and other configuration changes are now possible for the Bixby Routines on the Galaxy Watch 4.
Additionally, the Quick Exchange feature allows you to share Wi-Fi passwords. Using a single link, you may send photos and movies to a group of people. With One UI 4.1, recipients of photos sent through Quick Share will be able to see the history of changes made to them, allowing them to undo any changes made. Reflection Eraser and Shadow Eraser are now available in the built-in gallery app.
For the Notes, the update is a hefty 1,049 MB that includes improvements to many Samsung applications. Firmware N976BXU7HVC6 features the March 1st security patch. The March patch is also included in the S10 upgrades.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note10 Lite have not been mentioned in relation to the 4.1 update. One UI 4.1 began rolling out to the latest Galaxy Note20 handsets last week.
