Motorola edge 30 Ultra’s design and key specs revealed in leaked official video

On September 8, Motorola will hold a presentation to introduce the new Edge series smartphones. The names of these smartphones have not yet been announced by the manufacturer, but one of them is anticipated to be the Edge 30 Ultra, which was shown in an official video that was released by reputable leaker Evan Blass and showed the Edge 30 Ultra’s appearance and essential specifications.

The selfie camera is located in the centre of the pOLED display that surrounds the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. It includes a triple camera arrangement on the back, the 200MP camera being the primary one.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that powers the Edge 30 Ultra is capable of 125W charging, which can supply a day’s worth of juice in only seven minutes. According to the short wording at the bottom, “median users” will receive up to 12 hours of battery life on a 7-minute charge. The battery size isn’t mentioned in the video, though.

The smartphone will support Dolby Atmos and include a USB-C connector for charging.

It appears that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be an exclusive to China variant of the Moto X30 Pro. If so, you’ll receive a 6.7″ 144Hz screen, a fingerprint reader embedded in the display, a 60MP selfie camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera.

A 4,610 mAh battery and 50W wireless charging are included in the smartphone, and dual speakers are included for a more rich music experience. For additional information, see our coverage of the Moto X30 Pro’s unveiling here.
