On Friday night, the Grammy-nominated rapper reacted to SH co-founders Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked’s collaboration record Rise & Fall Of Slaughterhouse. Royce conveyed his displeasure through Instagram, with a photo of a burning pig, as seen on the album’s cover.
Nickel Nine handled the matter by comparing it to a four-person apartment building that two of them would later burn down without the others’ agreement.
“You own 25% of a building… “An apartment building…” he continued. The building was created by you and your three companions. It’s a million. Suddenly, the value reduces due to repairs, etc. Everyone has discussed when and how this task would be completed. You only need to agree on a strategy.”
Ortiz, Crooked, and Joe Budden are the three “partners”.
Then you and one other partner get an opportunity to develop another building together, but only the two of you… Missing two partners… Yes… “There’s a check,” he said. “BUT… One catch: You must first burn down your existing building without alerting your other two partners… Would you? No way… “Nor I…”
According to HipHopDX, Budden replied to Royce’s tweet with “SMH.”
The Rise And Fall Of Slaughterhouse will be released on March 11.
