iQOO Neo 6 versus Motorola Edge 30 versus Realme GT 2 versus Samsung Galaxy A53: Prices, specs compared

In India, the iQOO Neo 6 has been released. This is the first iQOO phone with the “Neo” brand to be released in the country. With a 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 CPU, and triple-rear cameras with a combined resolution of 64MP, the Neo 6 is a lightning-fast smartphone. The iQOO Neo 6 costs Rs 29,999 in India. It will go up against phones like the Motorola Edge 30, Realme GT 2, and the Samsung Galaxy A53, to name just a few of those with similar prices.

When compared against each other, the four phones are pitted against one other:


Plastic is the material of choice for both the iQOO Neo 6 and the Samsung Galaxy A53. Depending on availability, the back of the Motorola Edge 30 is either acrylic glass or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). SABIC’s bio-polymer substance is used to make two of the Realme GT 2’s colour options, Paper Green and Paper White. For example, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 is found in the iQOO Neo 6, whereas the Realme GT 2, Motorola Edge 30, and Samsung Galaxy A53 all have Snapdragon 888 chips.


Memory and storage options for the iQOO Neo 6 include 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB configurations. The Motorola Edge 30 is available in two memory configurations: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants of the Realme GT 2 are available. The 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy A52 are on the market. Expandable storage is only available on the A53.

In terms of software, the A53 runs on Android 12. There are four primary operating systems and five years of updates available. On the iQOO Neo 6, Funtouch OS 12 is built on top of Android 12. Vivo has promised two years of Android updates and three years of monthly security updates in their ad campaigns. Realme GT 2 is powered by Android 12.0 and features the Realme UI 3.0. In addition to Motorola’s My UX software, the Moto Edge 30 runs on Android 12. Android 13 and 14 will be supported for up to three years, according to Motorola, which has stated that the phone will be supported for up to three years.

An OIS 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro camera are all on the back of the iQOO Neo 9 for its triple rear camera arrangement. There are three cameras on the back of the GT 2: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera, and an additional 4cm macro camera. The A53 sports a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) on board. In addition to a 12MP ultra-wide angle and two 5MP cameras for macros and portraits, this device has a USB Type-C connection for charging. There are three cameras on the back of the Edge 30: a 50MP main sensor with optical stabilisation, a second 50MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor.


32MP front cameras are found on the Samsung Galaxy A53 and Motorola Edge 30. A 16MP front-facing camera is seen on the Realme GT 2 and the iQOO Neo 9.

There’s an 80W quick charge on the iQOO 9 Pro’s 4,700mAh battery. Fast connected charging @ 65W for the Realme 5’s 5,000mAh battery. With a 4,020mAh battery and a 33W fast charger, the Moto Edge 30 is ready to go. The A53 has a 5,000mAh battery and a 25W fast charger. Samsung does not include a charging cable with the phone.

Price: Rs 29,999 for a version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on the Neo 6 in India. Rs 33,999 will buy you a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It costs Rs 27,999 for a model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For Rs 29,999, you can also get it with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. With an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, the GT 2 begins at Rs 34,999. If you want the most powerful GT 2 model, which has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it will cost you Rs 38,999. Galaxy A53 5G price in India starts at Rs 34,499 for 6GB/128G and goes up to Rs 35,999 for 8GB/128GB.
