Mexican Red Chile Sauce Recipe
EQUIPMENT
- Oven
- Skillet
- Blender
INGREDIENTS 1x2x3x
- 8 Dried Red Chili
- ½ tsp Mexican Oregano
- 8 oz. Tomato
- 5 Garlic Cloves
- ½ cup Rice Vinegar
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cumin
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take the chilis and roast them in an oven or a skillet for 10 minutes.
- Remove all of the seeds and stems from the chilies.
- Blend the chilis with the remaining ingredients until you have a smooth, thick paste.
- Season with salt and vinegar to taste. Preservatives such as salt and vinegar will be used.
- Place the sauce in a glass jar and set aside to allow the flavours to blend.
- Your sauce is finished! You can keep it in the fridge for a month.
