Step 1: Visit Outlook web.

Step 7: Click on the same three-dot menu at the top and you will see Google Meet appearing. Select it and sign in using your Google ID and password.

Step 8: Add your calendar event name, date, time, and other details. When you click on Google Meet > Add Meeting, it composes a Google Meet meeting and adds relevant information in the notes tab.

With Google Meet integration in Outlook, hit Save at the top and you’re set to go. As previously stated, the Google Meet add-in is not exclusive to Google Workspace members. On the PC and online, anybody with a valid Google account may use Google Meet with their Outlook calendar.

You can’t just go to Microsoft Outlook and start scheduling Google Meet meetings. You need to install the add-on first. Follow the steps below.

Unlike Zoom, the Google Meet add-on is available for Google Workspace and personal Google account users.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook on Windows.

Step 2: Go to the Home menu.

Step 3: Click on Browser Add-ins.

Step 5: Search for Google Meet and add it to Microsoft Outlook.

Step 7: Click on the New Meeting button at the top.

Step 8: From the Add Meeting menu, click on the three-dot menu and open Google Meet.

Step 9: Click on it and select Add a meeting.

For the first time, Google Meet will need you to sign in using a username and password. After successful authentication, you’ll see Google Meet joining information in your notes, along with a link to the meeting.

Outlook will notify you of the forthcoming meeting on your calendar, and you may join the Google Meet meeting using notes. The same features are accessible on the online version of Outlook. Let’s have a look at it.

WHAT ABOUT OUTLOOK MOBILE APPS

Unfortunately, the Outlook iOS and Android apps do not allow you to create Google Meet meetings. From platform to platform, the add-ins shop is different. As a result, you won’t be able to use as many add-ins with Outlook mobile apps.

Zoom is available as an add-on in the Outlook mobile applications. From the Outlook Settings menu, you can effortlessly enable the Zoom add-on and compose Zoom calls from Outlook Calendar.
