It is expected that the shops would resume their normal operations in the near future.

Apple’s top premium reseller in Russia has stated that it is temporarily suspending its shops in order to examine market circumstances due to the continued effect of sanctions in the nation.

According to a statement released by Rise re:Store, the store has been shut down.

“The decision to temporarily shut re:Store locations was made in order to examine the present state of the market. There will be no interruption in business in the foreseeable future.”

Apple has already taken steps to restrict its services and business in the nation, including ceasing to sell devices there. Sanctions are causing significant inflation, which is making it difficult for resellers who remain in the country to maintain their rates.

On its website, Re:store lists 44 locations, most of which are located in Russia, although there is also a shop in Prague and a store in Kyiv. All of Apple’s wares, including the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7 and iPads, are available at the shop along with a wide variety of third-party accessories and devices.

The shop is an authorised service centre for Apple goods and is associated with the company as a premium reseller.

Tuesday, Apple said it will stop selling its devices in Ukraine, as well as restricting services like Apple Pay and Maps. Source
