vivo shows off images of X Fold+ in red

The updated X Fold+ will be launched on September 26 (Monday), according to an official announcement from vivo, and the event poster confirmed the addition of a red colorway. This one features a fake leather cover, much like the existing black and blue variants.

Would you want to see the red colorway in more detail? You’re in fortunate since Vivo is eager to display it; after all, it looks wonderful. By the way, it’s called “Huaxia Red.” According to vivo, it “is the spiritual foundation of Chinese culture and the emblem of growth and development in our views.”

The vivo X Fold+ is expected to bring the improved Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage), plus a slightly larger 4,730mAh battery (up from 4,600mAh on the original). It will also give wired charging a boost up to 80W (up from 66W, wired charging remains at 50W), at least that is what rumors claim.

The remainder ought to be the same as the original vivo X Fold. The price (the first launched CNY 9,000, which was translated to €1,300/$1,415) will be revealed next week. The original X Fold is still only available in China, so availability is something else to keep an eye on.
