Twitter is introducing the opportunity to modify tweets in response to years of customer requests. The business released a test tweet with a “Last edited” date in anticipation of launching this functionality later this month. You can view the original tweet and all edits made by clicking on the timestamp to access the tweet version history.
The edit tweet tool will only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers until it is consumer-ready. Twitter Blue is a $4.99 monthly subscription service that is currently only available in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional benefits for Twitter Blue users include ad-free content, UI customization choices, and an undo tweet feature that allows you to erase tweets before they are actually sent. This feature is enabled via a countdown timer.
