For the second time this year, YouTube is delivering 4,000 free TV episodes to U.S. customers. To get to the free material, you’ll have to go through some adverts. A new ad-supported TV service is now available on YouTube. As long as you’re willing to go through commercials, the video giant claims you can now watch roughly 4,000 episodes of TV for free.

Hell’s Kitchen, Andromeda, and Heartland are among the accessible shows, and YouTube says in a blog post that you can watch them in the United States on the web, mobile devices, and “most connected TVs through the YouTube TV app.”
YouTube is taking on a number of big rivals with the new free TV programming. If you’re a fan of over-the-air television (OTA), YouTube is hoping you’ll switch over to its platform rather than channel surfing to discover what else is on.
This is an addition to YouTube’s current 1,500-strong collection of free-to-watch movies, which was revealed on the YouTube Official Blog. Each week, YouTube is pledging to add 100 new titles, with the option to either rent or purchase material to remove the commercials permanently or temporarily. It’s all available via the company’s standard mobile, web or smart TV applications..
The free TV series on YouTube include Hell’s Kitchen, Andromeda, Heartland, and many more. This includes movies from Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution and Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures, as well as films from FilmRise. Gone in Sixty Seconds, Runaway Bride, and Legally Blonde are just a few of the free and ad-supported films coming to Netflix in March.
Be aware that after you get beyond some of these more popular series and films, the selection isn’t exactly stellar. Other free TV series on YouTube were Mutant X, Lovespring International, and Doctor Finlay, all of which we had never heard of before.
Please note that this announcement has nothing to do with YouTube’s subscription service, YouTube TV. The new free programmes may be found on the main YouTube site or app, but they’re tucked away in a separate area.
On systems like Roku and Plex, ad-supported TV streaming is already available. These services, despite their popularity, are unable to compete with YouTube’s enormous user base. There is a lot of uncertainty about the long-term viability of Google’s free programmes and films. However, they’re in an excellent position to begin competing at the very least.
According to YouTube’s blog, a large number of people are viewing YouTube on their televisions, even if alternative streaming choices are presumably available to them. In addition, YouTube notes how it has improved the TV app’s navigation and user interface, which benefits everyone, not just Americans.
If you can’t or don’t want to test out YouTube’s new free content, here are some of the top free Roku channels and the best Roku channels overall.
In addition to free movies with commercials like Gone in Sixty Seconds and Legally Blonde, YouTube also offers free TV series. As many as 100 new series and movies will be added weekly.
