A foldable iPhone is something that is almost inevitable from Apple’s perspective. In spite of the fact that it is referred to as the “iPhone 14 Flip,” this year’s iPhone 14 will not have a flip phone. And it may not happen with the iPhone 15 or the iPhone 16 in the future, either. There’s no doubt that a foldable iPhone is possible. If it’s anything like Antonio De Rosa’s concept art, we’re in for a treat.

Apple silicon is the major reason you won’t be able to purchase this iPhone, no matter how crazy or imaginative it seems. In order for Apple to deploy an M1 processor in a smartphone, there are a number of factors, including power demand and heat. However, the current A-series chips and their brilliance are perhaps the most important cause for the change. The A15 Bionic in the iPhone is already powerful enough.
