After a five-month hiatus, OnePlus is back with a fresh iteration of its previous flagship device. For those who have followed OnePlus for a long time, the company’s August 3 launch signals a return to form.

To follow up on the OnePlus 10 Pro, which was unveiled earlier this year, the company will unveil the OnePlus 10T. It used to be common practice for OnePlus to produce T versions of its flagship phones six months after the fact, with the new phone preserving many of the features of its predecessor, while making improvements in areas such as battery life and performance.

OnePlus hasn’t done that in a while. The OnePlus 8T, which came out in 2020, was the last device in the T series. Only the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will be released in 2021 after the OnePlus 9T was scrapped in 2018.

There is a lot we already know about the OnePlus 10T prior to today’s launch event, including the screen size, system-on-chip, and a number of critical camera specifications. No Hasselblad-branded lenses will be included in this year’s OnePlus flagship release like they have in the prior two years. Aside from that, we don’t yet know how much the OnePlus 10T is going to cost or when it will be available for purchase.

When the OnePlus 10T launch event begins at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT/3 p.m. BST, all of this will be disclosed. On OnePlus’ website(opens in new tab), you may watch the live feed; here, we’ve embedded the YouTube live stream(opens in new tab).

Our OnePlus 10T launch event live blog is also available. Throughout the morning, we’ll be updating this page with the newest information regarding the release of the OnePlus 10T. As soon as the new phone is unveiled, we’ll provide all the details.

ONEPLUS 10T: UP TO THIS POINT IN TIME

A faster, more power-efficient version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that powers the OnePlus 10 Pro is known to be used in the OnePlus 10T. As a result, it appears that OnePlus is prioritizing speed with this release.

The 6.7-inch display size of the OnePlus 10T has been confirmed by the company. Moonstone Black and Jade Green are the only colors we know of. The cameras in the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 10 Pro will no longer bear the Hasselblad logo, but OnePlus has confirmed that the device will be equipped with a 50MP Sony sensor. The OnePlus 10T’s other cameras haven’t been officially announced yet.

Aside from that, all that’s left is to wait for OnePlus to reveal the phone that’s previously been confirmed.
