Three new games have been added to the Netflix Games library. With the addition of Netflix’s first-person shooter (FPS) to its catalogue, the streaming provider has revealed plans to make three additional mobile games accessible to subscribers on iOS and Android.
According to Netflix, This Is A True Narrative is an instructional role-playing game that tells the storey of a lady in a sub-Saharan African country who struggles to find water for her family every day. Frosty Pop, in partnership with Charity: Water, created the game. First launched on PlayStation 3 in 2009, the popular brick-breaking game Shatter Remastered is an enhanced version of the original. Zombies are a constant threat in Into The Dead 2: Unleashed: a mix FPS/runner game.
This week, Netflix announced that three new mobile games would be added to the service’s Netflix Game category. Netflix’s first first-person shooter will be among the new releases in this new collection.
To celebrate Netflix’s foray into mobile gaming, a first batch of titles was released to users in November for download and play on compatible mobile devices. Even though the streaming service doubled down on its gaming aspirations earlier this year, the inclusion of these three games to its catalogue suggests that it still views gaming as an important element of its long-term strategy.
This Is A True Story and Shatter Remastered may be downloaded and played right now, while Into The Dead 2: Unleashed, a first-person shooter, is on the “coming soon” list.
One of the main goals of the puzzle game This Is A True Story is to tell the storey of an African woman’s daily struggle to find water for her family in the Sub-Saharan region of the world. Frosty Pop, in conjunction with Charity: Water, developed the game. Due to the fact that the storey in This Is A True Story is based on real interviews and experiences, it has a high pedagogical appeal.
It is a more conventional mobile game, Shattered Remastered. Of be more precise, it’s an update to 2009’s brick-breaking game, which was first launched on the PS3. Each level is packed with power-ups and monster fights, and there are hundreds to choose from. Short spurts of gaming while on the road seem like a terrific way to enjoy this one.
Into The Dead 2: Unleashed is the game’s most intriguing addition to the library. This is Netflix Games’ first-ever First-Person Shooter (FPS), and it has players battling an ever-increasing zombie onslaught. It also incorporates a runner-style gameplay for a non-stop action experience. Maybe not quite as polished or immersive a shooter as Call of Duty or Halo Infinite, but it looks like a fun way to kill time while waiting in line or riding public transportation.
Over the last several months, Netflix has been steadily expanding its range of video games. They join Asphalt Xtreme and Stranger Things: The Game in Netflix’s collection of video games. In addition to the fact that they can all be streamed ad-free on a mobile device, they can also be downloaded to your device and watched offline.
