The new design and colour possibilities for the MacBook Air 2022 are seen in these images.
Rumored MacBook Air 2022’s design has been given a fresh appearance thanks to a series of new renderings. They’re also rather attractive.
ZoneofTech, a popular YouTuber, has created these mockups of the MacBook Air 2022. From what we know so far, the MacBook Air will come in many different colours, including an Alpine Green that debuted on Apple’s iPhone 13 earlier this year.
The MacBook Air 2022 is expected to ditch the wedge form of the current Air lineup in favour of a flat, rounded design similar to the most recent MacBook Pro models. This has been anticipated for some time.
Not only do these images show off that style, but they also reveal a display notch, which was added to the MacBook Pro for the first time. However, there have been rumours that the next Air will be devoid of this feature.
“I’m virtually extremely positive I have a near 100 percent correct image as to how the next MacBook Air will look like,” says ZoneofTech.
Another theory is that the MacBook Air 2022 will be powered by a newer version of Apple’s M2 processor, which focuses on efficiency rather than brute power. For the MacBook Air, this is a reasonable compromise. To put it another way, the Air line is not geared for professionals, but rather those who choose battery life above absolute performance.
When it comes to its ports, the next-generation MacBook Air has also been anticipated to follow the MacBook Pro model. MagSafe charging and an HDMI port are reported to return, which would be a nice addition to the MacBook Air M1, which now only has two USB-C connectors. A SD card reader is something we’d like to see on the MacBook Air, but we don’t expect it to happen.
The display of the MacBook Air 2022 is also expected to get a significant boost. An LED display might be used instead of an LCD screen in the existing Air versions. As with the MacBook Pro 2021, this would be an incremental update that would be very appreciated. A mini-LED panel, on the other hand, would almost surely push the base price of the MacBook Air beyond $1,000. The new MacBook Air may have an LCD display instead, despite assertions to the contrary.
Awaiting confirmation of all the alleged enhancements and features, as well as how similar these renderings are to the final product. Assuming what we’ve heard so far proves true, the next MacBook Air might be one to remember.
