On UFC Fight Night at the O2 Arena in London, Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett were together the whole fight week.
The sold-out crowd at UFC London was in a state of ecstasy after both British fighters won their fights on the main night.
Hannah Goldy was stopped in the first round by McCann. She threw a right and a spinning elbow at Goldy, who was still reeling from the first blow. McCann dominated the flyweight fight after Goldy was knocked out.
At the O2, the crowd erupted in joy as McCann claimed her second straight TKO victory.
After a slow start, Pimblett quickly finished Jordan Leavitt. Leavitt had the upper hand and Pimblett made the more devastating plays in round one, but there was no contest in round two.
Pimblett’s knee to the head of Leavitt’s head was the beginning of the end for Leavitt. Leavitt’s right arm was trapped by Pimblett’s thigh as he immediately got Leavitt’s back. Leavitt was unable to free Pimblett’s arms off his neck when he sank in the rear naked choke, thus he had to tap.
He wasn’t a fan of the first battle.
He called it “s***.” You know better than that, don’t you?
He proved that in the second round as he knocked out Leavitt with ease.
McCann and Pimblett leapt into the cage to celebrate as the crowd erupted in cheers.
