As Tatiana Maslany transitions from actress to lawyer, This Saturday, Marvel Studios published a new trailer for “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” The show’s stars and staff marketed it as Marvel’s first half-hour TV comedy.

Awe-inspiring, Maslany stated at the end of her Comic-Con panel. “What makes She-Hulk so intriguing is how distinct it is from anything else out there. It’s a form of slapstick comedy. It appears like She-Hulk is making an effort to not be a superhero.”

Jennifer Walters (Maslany), a bright lawyer and longtime MCU hero Bruce Banner’s cousin, is the focus of this superhero show/comedy hybrid (Mark Ruffalo). Bruce is obliged to give Jennifer a blood transfusion after she sustains a serious injury, resulting in her becoming a “hulk” version of herself. Jenn retains her personality and intelligence when she grows into her 6-foot-7-inch frame and enjoys the newfound freedom and strength that comes with it. New challenges arise for Jennifer when she is hired to work for a law company specializing in cases involving super-humans, as she gains more confidence in her personal life.

Sorcerer Supreme Wong and Emil Blonsky, the Abomination, are two of the MCU’s returning actors, along with Ruffalo and Tim Roth, who portrays one of Jennifer’s clients. Last year’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” featured a mid-credits scene when the two appeared together. Her competitor Titania is played by Jameela Jamil and Ginger Gonzaga, respectively, while Jennifer’s best friend Nikki is played by Jameela Jamil and Gonzaga. The cast is completed by Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil character, Charlie Cox, is reportedly rumored to appear in the trailer.

Executive producers include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and Kat Coiro, as well as Jessica Gao, the show’s head writer. Anu Valia and Coiro collaborated on the show’s direction. The show’s co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

First episode of “She Hulk” will air on Disney+ on August 17th. The series follows “Moon Knight” in March and “Ms. Marvel” in June as the third from Marvel Studios to air this year. With the premiere of “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” from filmmaker James Gunn in December, Disney+ will also get a Halloween special in October.
