“The public are really revolting,” says the author “During Saturday’s Turning Point Summit, Gaetz spoke about pro-abortion campaigners.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) stated women who “look like a thumb” shouldn’t worry about losing their right to an abortion during a speech at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday.
As Salon reported on Friday, when Ted Cruz said his pronoun is “kiss my ass,” the summit aims to provide students with leadership training by pairing them with political luminaries like Cruz, Gaetz, and Marjorie Taylor Greene to learn from their wisdom.
Have you seen these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies?? Gaetz posed the question to Summit attendees. “Disgusting people populate this world. Women who are most concerned about having an abortion tend to be those who have a lower chance of getting pregnant.”
“As a result, no one wants to become pregnant with you. From the inside out, these guys are a complete and utter shit “Gaetz went on with his remarks. These women are 5-foot-2 and 350 pounds, and they’re saying, “Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and protest.” “I’m thinking, march? They need to get up and march for an hour a day, swing their arms, get the blood moving, and maybe mix in a salad. You look like you’ve got ankles weaker than the legal logic behind Roe V. Wade.””

The 7th District of New Jersey’s Congressman, Tom Malinowski, wrote on Twitter after watching a video of Gaetz’s speech: “OK, I’m not going to suggest every Republican is like Matt Gaetz.” “.. but there will be more of him in the upcoming legislature. It was supposed to be a display of the Republican Party’s future, and yet the audience’s reaction to this sexist misogyny was so outraged by it.”
Attributing human rights to one’s appearance and way of life is nothing new for Gaetz. “How many of the ladies rallying against overturning Roe are overeducated, under-loved millennials who unhappily return from protests to an alone microwave dinner with their kitties, and no bumble matches?” the Florida congressman tweeted in May.
