The town of BogalUSA, Louisiana (WAFB) Rapper Javorius Scott, also known as JayDaYoungan, was assassinated on Wednesday night in Bogalusa, Louisiana, where he lived.
The shooting was confirmed by the Bogalusa Police Department via a Facebook post.
“23 Island,” “Catch Me in Traffic,” and “Muddy Situation” were among of the rapper’s most popular songs.
Kenyatta Scott, Sr., a close family member, was also injured in the altercation, according to police.
A shooting occurred in the 600 block of Superior Avenue just before 6 p.m. on that evening.
One person was brought to Our Lady of the Angels Emergency Room by officers responding to the site.
EMS arrived on the scene and treated a second victim, who was gravely injured, before transporting him to the hospital.
Just after 7 p.m., a second gunshot occurred in the 800 block of Marshall Richardson Road, as officers dealt with the chaos at the hospital and the crime scene on Superior Avenue.
Possibly linked to the first shooting, authorities reported that a car had been shot. The incident had no impact on the vehicle’s occupants.

According to detectives, they are presently interviewing suspects and pursuing leads at this time.
