Formula One driver Max Verstappen has won the World Championship. Thanks to his victory in the Grand Prix, the Dutchman may add 25 points to his account, whereas Charles Leclerc failed to finish and thus did not receive any points. A whopping 63 points separates him from the nearest challenger.

Aside from that, not much has changed in the standings for the 2018 World Championships. Lance Stroll passed Alexander Albon for 18th after finishing 10th at Paul Ricard. After the twelfth race of the season, there are no further changes.

After losing 12 points to Leclerc, Sergio Perez now trails the Ferrari driver. Max Verstappen’s teammate, Carlos Sainz, also gained a few points. George Russell is now only one point behind him in the World Championship thanks to his third-place finish in France.
