According to the Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk’s affair with Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan, caused him to sever ties with Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Rumors about an alleged affair between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Google co-founder Sergey Brin first surfaced in the Wall Street Journal earlier this year, according to insiders. However, Musk has since disputed the claims and insisted they are “third-party random hearsay.”
Musk and Shanahan are said to have had an affair at the Art Basel festival in Miami following Musk’s breakup with Claire Boucher, better known as Grimes. Although Brin and Shanahan were no longer married, sources tell the WSJ that they were still living together at the time. The couple’s relationship was said to be strained because of their three-year-old daughter and the COVID-19 lockdowns.
Musk responded to the report by calling it “absolute bs” on Twitter after it was published. ‘Sergey and I are buddies, and we were at a party together last night!’ Musk says. The only two occasions I’ve seen Nicole in the last three years were while she was surrounded by a large group of other individuals. “There’s no pretense here.” “Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh),” the millionaire executive replied in another message.

Friendship between Brin and Musk was described in the paper as “intimate.” During the 2008 crisis, Brin provided Tesla with $500,000 in investment; in return, Musk made Brin one of the first customers to purchase the Model X in 2015. When it comes to a party earlier this year, sources claim the Wall Street Journal that Musk went so far as to kneel on one knee and beg for forgiveness from Brin. According to the article, Brin has instructed his financial advisers to sell their shares in Musk’s enterprises.
