We’ll be wondering when the rematch of the century will take place when we finally get to see Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 5 on Disney Plus. There seems to be nothing else left for the program to accomplish now that Obeido-Wan (Ewan McGregor) has saved Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) once more.

While Obi-Wan and Anakin fought in the third episode (and it was an epic duel), the scene felt like a teaser for a much more epic showdown. While Hayden Christiansen has been credited as playing Anakin/Vader by Lucasfilm and Disney+, the actor has only appeared in the Bacta tank (was that even him?) thus far this season.

  • Release date and time: Episode 5 is now streaming on Wednesday (June 15) on Disney Plus(opens in new tab), having dropped at 3 a.m. ET. Full release schedule below.
  • Cast: Ewan McGregor, Vivien Lyra Blair, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, Kumail Nanjiani, Sung Kang
  • Director: Deborah Chow
  • Rating: TV-14

And Vader will catch Obi-Wan and Leia because Reva made a cunning move just before they escaped. She made a tracking beacon out of Leia’s L0-LA59 droid, which the kid affectionately refers to as “Lola.”

O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Roken and Maya Erskine as a yet-to-be-named character that subtitles suggest is named Sully were introduced in the fourth episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Because of their efforts on “The Path,” another show featuring them is urgently required.
