The “Hey Siri” voice command may now be used on a number of older Macs that were previously unable to do so thanks to Apple’s new Studio Display.
The 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models from 2016 and 2017 may be utilised with a Studio Display while using “Hey Siri,” which generally needs a MacBook Pro model launched in 2018 or later to function. When connected to a Studio Display, the “Hey Siri” function may be utilised on iMacs launched between 2017 and 2019 with a 21.5-inch iMac and 27-inch iMac.
When coupled with an Apple-branded display, the Studio Display allows “Hey Siri” on Mac desktops that previously did not support the function, including the 2019 Mac Pro and 2018 and later variants of the Mac mini.
In addition to “Hey Siri,” the Studio Display’s A13 Bionic processor powers Spatial Audio and the Center Stage camera function, which keeps you centred in the screen during video conversations. Other capabilities powered by the A13 Bionic chip include:

Studio Display’s primary features include a 27-inch screen, 5K resolution, a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide camera with Center Stage, a six-speaker sound system with Spatial Audio, one Thunderbolt 3 connector, and three USB-C ports, all of which were released last week. Standard glass and a tilt-adjustable stand start at $1,599 in the United States, with nano-texture glass and a VESA mount adapter upgrade options available.
